PREREQUISITE: Certified Building Envelope Technician (CBET) certification
This 8-hour class will give UBC Instructors the ability to present an American Institute of Architects (AIA) presentation to Architects in need of 1 Learning Unit Health, Safety, and Welfare, (LU/HSW) for their continuing education. This continuing education class will discuss code requirements, advances in and the science behind how building envelopes can control the movement of moisture, air, heat, and water vapor. It will examine how to get it right and what can happen when things go wrong.
