AIA/ICRA: Best Practices in Health-Care Construction Presentation

Prerequisite: The minimum prerequisite for this class is the 24-hour member class ICRA: Best Practices in Health-Care Construction.

This 8 hour class will give UBC Instructors the ability to present an American Institute of Architects (AIA) presentation to Architects in need of 1.5 Learning Units for their continuing education. In 2010, the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities was published specifically addressing the infection control risk assessment. This continuing education class reviews the important content of the risk assessment and outlines methods for containing potential harmful contaminants during the construction process.
