Building Information Modeling - Concepts Train The Trainer

This 2 day course introduces the current uses for BIM modeling. It is designed to teach trainers; terminology, available software, the various roles of the building professionals related to BIM and BIM design effects on the trades. If time allows, specific tablet applications may be included in the instruction.

Upon completion of this course, the trainer will be prepared to present the BIM-Concepts course at their local training center. It is recommended that the attendees have a working knowledge of computer operation including keyboard skill, general understanding of software functions, and plan reading experience. To achieve a certificate of competency, participants are required to score a minimum of 80% on the qualification exam.

Attendees are highly encouraged to have a basic computer skills class.
