This 5-day course is designed to teach curtain wall installation, beginning with a review of storefront and curtain wall components, their common uses, and the codes that apply to each. Topics covered will include site inspection, determining safety, equipment, and crew needs, print reading, material delivery, handling, and staging, and how to organize materials for maximum efficiency. The layout, fabrication, installation, and glazing of curtain wall shop projects will complete the course. This course is a prerequisite for the Storefront/Curtain Wall Doors and Hardware Installation course.
