This Train-the-Trainer workshop will prepare instructors to deliver the member workshop. The member workshop's primary purpose is to increase the health and safety awareness for construction workers who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will also give members tools to assist in preparing and responding to pandemics. The training gives members the knowledge and skills needed to prepare and respond by anticipating, identifying, analyzing, and controlling safety and health hazards during a pandemic or other crisis.

By the end of the course, the member should be able to:

  • Explain how current and past pandemics impact workplaces, communities, countries, and the world.
  • Describe common general guidelines and best practices for job sites.
  • Apply hazard identification and assessment tools and processes to the job sites.
