Lathing Curved Ceilings Train The Trainer:
This 40 hr. workshop is designed to guide the instructor through the related Print Reading, Layout, Tools, Materials and standard Lathing skills needed to install a flat suspended lath ceiling. Lathing terminology, trim components, size and spacing requirements will all be combined in a shop project.
The layout and installation of a Segmental Barrel Ceiling, a Groin ceiling and Dome ceiling will also be completed. The importance of correct layout to the actual construction of the ceiling is a main focus of this workshop. Methods of bending cold rolled channel and alternative methods of construction will also be discussed.
