Green Building Awareness Train The Trainer

Classes that do not meet the Minimum Attendance Requirements 45 days in advance will be cancelled.

Green Awareness is a 2 day course that discusses being “Stewards of the Environment”. Today’s construction methods are going “Green” as we reduce our reliance on products made of non-renewable resources and are strive to be more energy efficient.

Discussed topics include:

• Energy efficiency and renewable sources
• Water efficiency
• LEED construction methods and other energy efficiency programs
• Reducing toxins in our building products
• Healthy Buildings
• Smart Growth and sustainable resource development
