3-Day Workshop - Distance Learning Course

The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with key communication practices essential in the workforce so that they may manage those practices effectively in their written work. The goal of this course is to teach those writing skills, strategies, and tactics that workforce professionals need in order to write successfully on the job. 

This includes rhetorical analysis, writing in a logical understandable style, use of proper grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and vocabulary.


This workshop also contains a series of distance learning lessons that must be completed to receive credit for the workshop. Upon completion of this course, you will receive two (2) credits from Penn State University, these credits can be applied to a bachelor's degree in vocational education. This course is part of the UBC Instructor Certification program.
