This workshop taught by the American Welding Society will train and test UBC instructors using the D1.1 welding code. This ten day workshop consists of nine days of seminar; day 10 is the hands on test here at the CITF. The written tests will be scheduled by the participants and taken at a testing center in their home area. You must bring a picture ID to the test center.
Instructors who pass this workshop can certify candidates to any AWS recognized welding codes. Participants must attend the entire nine days of seminar to be eligible to take the exam.
