This 40 hour course will certify UBC instructors to teach members life saving skills in First Aid, CPR and AED. Although not a certification course, the Bloodborne Pathogens class will also be presented. It will also satisfy the training requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Class material will be presented in a fashion that will not only educate each candidate instructor, but hone their teaching and presentation skills with hands on interactive exercises. Each instructor will also receive a "right to perform" card for each subject covered.
