This course will be updated for 2023 to a 5-Day course introducing users to Trimble SketchUp®, a modeling program used to create 3D models and animations. This course will focus on 3D creation of models, site logistics plans, and virtual mockups. Importing, exporting and converting various compatible files will be shown as well so that models could be used for production of materials and 3D printing. Users will learn how to create blueprints from their models. Participants will be shown how import their models into Trimble connect for use with XR10 Hololens or other viewers. The use of point clouds from 3D scans will also be explored and users will be shown how to model within or on the existing point clouds.
