Mass Timber Framing Train the Trainer

This 5-day workshop will cover the present-day use of Timber Framing. The marking, cutting, assembling, and tools used. The reading of prints, standard framing components, and joinery related to floor, wall, and roof construction will be demonstrated and performed. The safety considerations associated with Timber Framing will be discussed. This workshop also covers Mass Timber, engineered wood comprised of compressed layers of solid wood panels which provide exceptional strength and stability, like concrete and steel. Covering the fundamentals of Mass Timber, the tools and materials used for construction, and the various processes used to build Mass Timber structures.
