ADCI Dive Supervisor Certification


The minimum participants for this course is: 6

 PREREQUISITE(S): 

  • Must complete and submit Prerequisite Verification Form upon registration.

This 4-day course includes the Dive Supervisor Seminar and testing for ADCI Dive Supervisor Certification.

The seminar prepares candidates through presentations on Dive Physics and Decompression Theory, as well as Dive Medicine and Physiology. Candidates will also be advised on the other areas of the exam, Critical Knowledge and Practical Knowledge.  These areas look at federal regulations and the operational guidelines found in the International Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving and Underwater Operations.

If necessary, testing for ADCI Supervisor NITROX Endorsement is also included. In preparation for the exam, candidates will look at the differences between NITROX/Enriched Air and Mixed Gas (HeO²), as well as myths associated with the use of enriched air. Other areas covered will include safe operational practices and the different tables utilized.  All information will be based upon the most recent editions of the NOAA Dive Manual, US Navy Dive Manual, and the ADCI International Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving and Underwater Operations guidelines

Please see the ADCI Dive Supervisor Certification Prerequisite Verification form below. The form and supporting documents must be submitted and approved 45 days prior to attending the ADCI Dive Supervisor Certification session. Submit one form for each participant.
