PREREQUISITES: Current ICRA Best Practices in Health-Care Construction, or ICRA Best Practices in Health-Care Construction TTT, or ICRA Best Practices in Health-Care Construction TTT Refresher, or within 1 year grace period.
This 8-hour workshop addresses new pre-work activities and documentation that can be required by health-care facilities before beginning work activities. This documentation will address cell phone and wireless operation, methods of procedure for new work activities, and fire stopping. In addition to reviewing the existing infection control protocols, new equipment will be demonstrated including a smoke stick, digital differential pressure gauge and a prefabricated hard wall system. This workshop will also be used to share instructor experiences and teaching methods that have been successful as they relate to the members and health-care facilities in your area.
